Brindavan Express Tollway Limited
 
 Project Overview
 

Maytas Infra has formed a Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) Brindavan Infrastructure Company Limited (BITL) along with Nagarjuna Construction Company Ltd. (NCC) and KMC Constructions Limited (KMC) to implement the four-laning of Bangalore – Mysore State Highway (NH 17), Bangalore – Maddur Package on Build-Operate-Transfer (BOT) located in Bangalore for a 10-year Concession Period. This is an annuity based project.

The project comes at a crucial point of time when the IT capital of India Bangalore and its connectivity are challenged by growing traffic volumes and falling infrastructure standards. With Mysore touted to be the next tourist and IT destination in Karnataka, the connectivity, would not have come at a better moment.

 
 Cost and Timelines
 
The estimated cost of the project is Rs. 247.50 crores. This annuity based project's Financial Closure was in April, 2004 and became operational from April, 2006.
