Vedanta Aluminium Limited-Orissa
Maytas Infra's Buildings & Structures division (B & S) has signed an MoU with Vedanta Aluminium Limited for developing an integrated township for their staff at Jharsuguda, Orrisa.
The integrated township is being constructed for the welfare of the employees. The project is to construct the township on an EPC (Engineering, Procurement Construction & Contract) basis spread across 60 acres of land. The said project to be completed in 18 months will fetch Maytas Rs. 232.69 crores. This EPC basis integrated township project includes infrastructure facilities like roads, under-ground drainage system, water, power and communication and data cabling, sewage water treatment plant, landscaping, swimming pools and water bodies. The residential building varies from studio, 2BHK, 3BHK, hotel, guest houses, bungalows for senior management staff, 1000 seater open air theatre, club house, shopping centers, dispensary, school building, etc. The construction period is 18 months from the start of the project. The project commenced in February 2008

Construction of 146 blocks of Duplex houses spread over 7,30,227 sft.. into 714 units including internal and external services.

| NAVAC Project - Kerala |
Maytas Infra has received an order from CE NAVAC (Naval Academy) for construction of a hospital complex, Commandant’s residence and other civil works at Ezimala in Kerala. NAVAC is Asia's biggest Naval Academy set in a picturesque location on the Arabian seacoast. This project was the dream child of late Rajiv Gandhi, who had laid the foundation stone. The hospital works include provisions for all modern amenities, and a prestigious building complex.
Interestingly, there is a mythological story attached to Ezimala that stands apart for its beauty. It is believed that during the great epic of Ramayana, Hanuman while carrying Sanjivini mountain to save the life of Lakshmana, accidentally happened to drop a small piece in this area. As a result, this hillock is believed to be rich with herbs that have medicinal value.The construction period is 18 months from the start of the project. Maytas Infra has received an order from IIT Madras for construction of nearly 100 quarters of high end specification (4 building, each having ground + 6 floors).
This site is located in the heart of Chennai city and inside the IIT campus. IIT Madras being a premier academic institution of India, this project is considered to be a prestigious project for Maytas Infra.
The total built up area will be approximately 2,30,000 sft. The value of the contract is Rs 29.66 crores. |

JSW Steel Project - Karnataka
Maytas Infra has received an order from JSW Steels, Bellary in Karnataka to build an industrial township. The value of the contract is Rs. 53.60 crores excluding taxes.
The total build up area of the township is approximately 6,70,000 sft (500 Units). M/s. Kadri Consultants of Mumbai are the Architects of this township, and Project Management Consultants are M/s. TCE Bangalore. It is a new test for Maytas Infra as it is going to execute an Industrial Township Project for the first time. The construction period is 18 months from the start of the project. The project start date is October 5, 2007
Integrated Township for Jammu & Kashmir Government
Maytas Infra has received an order from J&K Government for construction of an integrated township project at Jammu. What makes this project more important is that it is one of the largest townships developed by any state government in terms of area.
The township will have 176 blocks. The total build up area will be approximately 21 lakhs sq. ft. including community hall, parks, roads, compound walls and so on. This is built for Kashmiri migrants, mainly the Pandits and is funded by Prime Minister's Relief Fund.
The construction period is 24 months from the start of the project. The project start date is September 7, 2007.
