Emergency Management and Research Institute (EMRI) is a unique arm that reaches out to rescue people in critical accidents and emergencies. The Government of Andhra Pradesh recognized EMRI as the nodal agency for providing emergency response services within the state. Equipped with world-class technology (mobile communication and distress management systems, mobile medical platforms with paramedic support, ambulances and motorbike champions, et al.), EMRI specializes in extending immediate relief in case of police, fire and medical emergencies. It enables distress calls through a unique 108 dial number, both on mobile phones and landlines.
