NICE Project

One of Maytas Infra's challenging projects is the Bangalore - Mysore Infrastructure Corridor Project. This prestigious Rs.1500 million project includes a 2 km expressway and a major clover leaf grade separator - a structure to provide uninterrupted traffic flow.
Mumbai - Pune Expressway

This Rs.1.5 billion six-lane project connects the industrial city of Pune with the financial capital of the country, Mumbai. Maytas Infra implemented a part of this prestigious project for MSRDC, Mumbai, using latest equipment like slip form pavers, auto controlled batching plant and 450 ton capacity mobile crusher. This well laid out world-class expressway has drastically reduced the travel time between the two cities.

Urban Transportation and Railways
Maytas Infra has initiated efforts for the development of underground, elevated and over-land Mass Rapid Transit Systems (MRTS) and railway infrastructure for urban transportation. Maytas Infra is currently executing a railway siding project for Vedanta Industries in Orissa.

Railway Sidings for M/s Vedanta Aluminium Limited’s Alumina Plant at Lanjigarh, Orissa

Maytas Infra has received an order for construction of Railway Sidings for M/s Vedanta Aluminium Limited’s Alumina Plant at Lanjigarh, Orissa The project consists of 16 km long approach alignment through hilly terrain involving major bridges across rivers and streams, including the perennial river Vamsadhara. It also includes power line crossings and important road crossings, in-plant sidings serving the production and dispatch installations of the alumina complex and remodelling of the Ambodla railway yard for take-off of the siding and additional holding lines with work to be done under running traffic conditions.

Adequate engineering personnel and machinery including giant stone crushers and cranes etc have been deployed at site. Work on major bridges on the alignment and civil works both at the in-plant yard and Ambodla railway yard are in progress. Bulk of the railway permanent-way materials including rails and concrete sleepers for track have been procured. The value of this project is Rs. 103 crores.

Construction of Boundary wall, Roads, Drains, and Earth filling for Byappanahalli Depot, Bangalore

Maytas Infra has been awarded the contract for construction of Boundary wall, Roads, Drains, and Earth filling for Byappanahalli Depot, Bangalore. The project involves site development for metro car shed. The client is Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Ltd.(BMRC) Bangalore. The project is in progress and the contract value is Rs. 42 crores.

Mass Rapid Transit System, Chennai, Phase-I&II

Maytas Infra has bagged the MRTS, Chennai, Phase-I&II project from Metropolitan Transport Project (Railways), Chennai that involves improvements to passenger amenities and other infrastructure works like building works, bridges, roads, drains and circulating area. The contract value is Rs. 33.955 crores.

Mass Rapid Transit System, Chennai, Phase-II Extension-Construction of pile Foundations and Substructure –Reach-I

Maytas Infra has won the MRTS, Chennai, Phase-II Extension project from Metropolitan Transport Project (Railways), Chennai for construction of pile foundations and substructure –Reach-I. The work involves sub-Structure for elevated railway line, pile foundations, pile caps and piers. The contract value is Rs. 40.271 crores and its location is Velachery to St.Thomas Mound, Chennai.

Maytas Infra has secured the MRTS, Chennai, Phase-II Extension project for construction of pile foundations, pile caps, piers and substructure–Reach-II from Metropolitan Transport Project (Railways), Chennai. The contract value is Rs. 33.241 crores and its location is Velachery to St.Thomas Mound, Chennai.

Maytas Infra has been awarded MRTS, Chennai, Phase-II Extension project for construction of pile foundations, and Substructure –Reach-III from Metropolitan Transport Project (Railways), Chennai. The work involves sub-Structure for elevated railway line, pile foundations, Pile caps and piers. The contract value is Rs. 41.313 crores and its location is Velachery to St.Thomas Mound, Chennai.

3rd Line :- Maytas Infra will be shortly taking up construction of Vijayanagaram-Kottavalasa 3rd Line on the East-coast Railway. The value of this project is Rs 10 crores

MRTS (Mass Rapid Transit System ) Hyderabad

Maytas Infra is one of the five consortiums to be selected by the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation to bid for the prestigious Metro Rail for the city in the Public-Private-Partnership (PPP) route.


Ports and Airports
Maytas Infra is into development of ports involving construction of berths, jetties, breakwaters, marine structures and cargo handling facilities, and also development of land for setting up port-based industries. The Airport sector covers construction of terminal buildings, runways, aprons, parking bays, hangers and other structures.

An elevated toll expressway on Bangalore – Hosur section on NH 7 stretched across 9 Kms is under construction for National Highways Authority of India


Chennai Bypass
Tamil Nadu 


Construction of 2-lane bituminous road connecting NH 4 and NH 5 through Chennai, Tamil Nadu at a length of 19 Kms. The highway was constructed for National Highways Authority of India, New Delhi in the year 2001.


Sira Bypass
Karnataka


Construction of bypass, an access controlled 4-lane bituminous road on NH-4 at Bangalore, Karnataka stretching to 5.5 Kms. The highway was constructed for National Highways Authority of India, New Delhi in the year 2002.


AS 17 & AS 19
Assam


Widening and strengthening of existing National Highway from two lane to four lane, this road between Dharmtul to Sonapur Section on NH 37 stretched through 25.5 Kms. is under construction for National Highways Authority of India.

Widening and strengthening of existing National Highway from two / intermediate lane to four lane, this road between Nagaon to Daboka section on NH 36 stretched through 30.5 Kms. is under construction for National Highways Authority of India.

Trichy-Padalur Road Project on NH-45

Maytas Infra Limited has been awarded the Project for Construction of 4 laning the existing 2 lane section from Km.285 (Padalur) to KM.325(Trichy) on NH-45 in the State of Tamil Nadu by Indu Projects Limited. Work is in full swing in the entire stretch of the Project. The scope of the work includes construction of new 2 lane road carriageway with flexible pavement, widening and strengthening of the existing 2 carriageway, construction of around 69 cross drainage structures by widening/reconstruction considering the condition of the existing structure, construction of longitudinal drains at the end of service roads and between service road and main carriageway, improvement of road junctions, construction of toll plaza and road furniture. The value of the Project is about Rs. 190 crores.

NH-45 is an important Highway, connecting Chennai and Dindigul via Trichy. It is the lifeline for the economy of the Region and the State. It connects Nagapatnam and Tuticorin, famous ports of Tamil Nadu. The Highway is being improved by NHAI to augment the capacity for catering growing needs of the trade and tourism needs of the State. Most of the famous devotional places like Srirangam, Tanjavur, Madurai, and Palani and the famous hill station, Kodaikanal fall either on or within the vicinity the Highway forming the main corridor for tourism.

Salem-Ulundurpet Road Project

Maytas Infra bagged the project for strengthening and widening of existing 2 lane road in Salem-Ulundurpet Section (from Km 0.313 to Km 136.670 on NH 68 to 4 lane) from M/s. Utility EnergyTech & Engineers Private Limited (UEEPL), the EPC Contractor.

This is one of the biggest highway project awarded on a BOT basis. SU Toll Road Private Limited is the Concessionaire for this Project of Design, Engineering, Construction, Development, Finance, Operation and Maintenance’ of the existing 2 lane road in Salem-Ulundurpet section from Km 0.313 to Km 136.670 on NH-68 to 4 lane configuration through a Concession on Build, Operate and Transfer (BOT) basis. The Concessionaire awarded the EPC Contract to M/s. Utility EnergyTech & Engineers Private Limited UEEPL).

The Project Corridor is divided into two parts and Maytas Infra has been entrusted with the work of 4 laning in the first part from Km.0.313 to Km.62.000 on NH-68. The work comprises construction of flexible pavement, improvement to junctions, drains, 31 pipe culverts, 73 box culverts, 15 underpasses, 13 minor bridges, 2 major bridges, and 1 road over bridge(ROB). The three new bye-passes falling in the scope of the work will be built to 2-lanes only. The work also includes construction of RE wall of more than 45,000 Sqm. for developing approaches to underpasses and ROB. Work is in progress in the available work fronts.

The Value of the Contract awarded to Maytas Infra Limited is Rs. 400 crores with a completion period of 27 months.
